12 – Cuban Revolution

Cuban-Missile-Crisis-Role-Play

The revolution was led by Fidel Castro in 1959. It finished with the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista and the Democratic Republic of Cuba was created. Castro promoted a pro-communist regime with a communist party, a planned economy and strict social control.

From Cuba, communism was spread over Latin America and Ernesto Che Guevara oversaw that mission. The United States became alarmed with the spread of communist regimes so Cuban invasion was organized from Bahia Cochinos in 1961 although it failed. Next decision was the economic blockade of Cuba which has been maintained so far.

  1. What? You just have 2 followers? That’s mindblowing considering how informative and precise your posts are. This is extremely dissapointing to see guys like you struggle so much.

      1. Oh so you’re a teacher? Didn’t knew. I wish i had teachers like you tbh. 😂 My teachers told me that german and russian revolution were none of my business because i belong to a different country. Although i read it by myself as for everything else.

I apologize for that “follower” stuff if it felt disrespectful though.

      2. Thanks again for the support. Never being disrespectful with your comment. We live in a world based on followers but that is not the case. I love History and teaching so spreading them makes me happy. And I think knowledge has no limits so I would like to learn mire about India and China past events. I am really greatful for your interest and have my congratulations for your informative blog. Take care, my friend.
